Letter to Self

Dear Michelle,
“To be or not to be”-Shakespeare You are a girl who likes to aim high but sometimes gets brought down because of comments or actions of other people. You are smart no matter what anybody says, that is why right now your hard work is paying off and your graduating high school to go into college. From this moment on you will have to go through a lot of hard work to succeed on what you want to be. It wont be easy but at the end it will all payoff, and giving up is not an option.
There are times were you get scared just to think about the future and what it would be like. You don’t know what is in stored for you and it makes you panic just to have the thought that things wont go as you expected it. Your scared that you wont finish college and that you will be a low life with a husband by your side that cant afford your needs. But by not giving up even through the roughest times you will be able to be successful and prove these thoughts wrong.
This is the time to ignore what other people think and say about you and only focus on your main goal. To prove to all your family that you were able to achieve everything you wanted and that from that moment on you can be a role model to all your younger siblings. But most importantly for you. The main thing in all this is to be patient and to work your butt off! Be safe and always ALWAYS think before you act! Because after you do something there is no going back and fixing it so think about it twice. I believe in you, and you will be successful. You will have the honor not only to be the first graduated from high school but from college also that is a fact! Take Care! And remember from being or not being you HAVE to be!
Love,
Michelle
